How to Write Service Pages That Rank and Convert
A step-by-step structure for service pages that rank on Google and turn visitors into enquiries: search intent, headline, problem, solution, process, proof, FAQs and calls to action.

- Give every service its own page with a headline that names the service.
- Cover the problem, your solution, what's included, process, proof and FAQs.
- Add calls to action at the top and bottom, and link the page from your homepage and articles.
Service pages are the money pages of a business website. They're the pages that rank for searches like "commercial interior design in Pune" and the pages that persuade visitors to get in touch. Here's a structure that works for both.
One service, one page
Give every main service its own page. A single "Services" page listing everything can't rank for each service or speak to each customer's specific needs.
The structure
1. A headline that names the service
Say exactly what it is, and where if you're local: "WordPress Maintenance Plans" or "Solar Rooftop Installation in Jaipur". Add a short supporting line with the main benefit.
2. A clear call to action near the top
"Get a free quote", "Book a consultation" or "WhatsApp us", visible without scrolling.
3. The problem, in the customer's words
Show you understand why they're here: the frustration, risk or goal behind the search.
4. Your solution and what's included
Explain how you solve it and list what's included. Specifics beat vague promises.
5. The process
Three to five steps from first contact to finished result. It reduces uncertainty.
6. Proof
Case studies, examples, testimonials and credentials related to this service.
7. FAQs
Answer questions about cost, timelines, what you need from the client, and guarantees. FAQs also help your page answer more searches.
8. A final call to action
Repeat the next step at the end, with a short form or WhatsApp.
Tips for writing them: FAQ sections that help customers and SEO.
SEO essentials
- Unique title and meta description with the service (and location)
- Enough depth to fully answer what searchers want to know
- Internal links from your homepage and related articles
- Service schema and FAQ content
Run through the on-page SEO checklist before publishing.
Common mistakes
- Thin pages with a paragraph and a contact form
- Jargon instead of the customer's language
- No proof or examples
- The same text copied across several service pages
See it in practice
Every service page on this site follows this pattern, for example WordPress speed optimization and WordPress maintenance: headline, benefits, what's included, an "in depth" section, related work, process, FAQs and contact.
