Key takeaways
  • The hero must say what you do, for whom, with one clear call to action.
  • Follow with proof, services linking to service pages, reasons to choose you and real work.
  • Add process, testimonials, FAQs and a final call to action; avoid sliders and vague slogans.

Your homepage is often the first page people see and the one they judge you by. In a few seconds it must answer: what do you do, is it for me, can I trust you, and what should I do next?

1. Hero section

  • Headline: what you do, for whom, and where if local
  • Supporting line: the main benefit or difference
  • Primary call to action: "Get a Free Quote", "Book a Consultation"
  • Secondary action: WhatsApp or "See our work"

2. Quick proof

Client logos, review ratings, years in business or key numbers you can back up, right below the hero.

3. Services overview

Short cards for each main service, each linking to its own service page. This also helps SEO by linking your strongest page to service pages; see internal linking.

4. Why choose you

Three to five specific reasons: experience, process, guarantees, speed, local presence. Avoid generic claims.

5. Work and case studies

Show real projects with short descriptions and links to case studies.

6. How it works

A simple 3–4 step process reduces uncertainty.

7. Testimonials

Named, specific testimonials near calls to action; see testimonials.

8. FAQs

Answer common objections: price, timeline, process; see FAQ sections.

9. Final call to action

End with a clear next step: a short form, WhatsApp and phone.

Common homepage mistakes

  • Sliders with vague slogans
  • "Welcome to our website" headlines
  • Too many competing calls to action
  • No proof or real photos
  • Slow loading from heavy images or video
